Pete #7 - 26.10.22
Watercolour paint on 300gsm watercolour paper. 297mm x 420mm.
October 26th, 2022, just two weeks before Pete left this Earth, he took this photo of himself in the palliative care ward at Peter Mac Hospital. The tube was back in his nose, and he despised it. Pete’s main goal at that time was to see Errol’s first birthday—and he did. He was the most determined person I’ve ever met.
100% of the profits of this painting will be donated to Tour De Cure - an organisation in Australia dedicated to cancer research.
