Pete had filmed it to send to his friend Denis in Berlin, talking about how we’d all be visiting him soon in Europe and introducing Errol. That was a dream we shared—one we believed would come true once Pete was well again. But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that in August 2024, exactly two years later, I’d be taking that trip without Pete.
