Pete #23 - 19.09.22
Watercolour paint on 300gsm watercolour paper. 297mm x 420mm.
19th of September, 2022, I took this photo of Pete in our lounge room, he was holding hands with Errol. That evening, I really noticed that Pete was slowly losing weight. Being a cyclist, he was particularly aware of it, and it was something that really got him down. I had a sense that things weren’t looking in his favour, so I started taking videos of him—to have those memories to show Errol as he grew up.
100% of the profits of this painting will be donated to Tour De Cure - an organisation in Australia dedicated to cancer research.
